ARDELVIO POLICIES

Terms & Conditions

Terms for use of the ARDELVIO website and purchase of a custom dog knee brace.

Last updated: October 21, 2026

Website Use

You may use this website for lawful personal shopping, order management and support purposes. Content is provided for general information and may be updated.

Eligibility to Purchase

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering the purchase contract and that the information supplied is accurate. Additional restrictions may apply based on destination or payment method.

Product Information

We aim to describe products accurately. Images may be illustrative, and screen settings can affect colour. Product suitability depends on the individual dog, accurate measurements and veterinary guidance; product information is not a diagnosis or treatment recommendation.

Pricing and Weight Variations

The product price depends on the dog-weight variation selected on the product page. Prices, taxes and available charges are shown at checkout where applicable. A selected weight range does not replace the A–G measurements required after payment.

Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted for custom production. We may contact you if payment, destination, product availability or order information requires clarification.

Payment

Payment is handled using the methods available at checkout. Custom production does not begin solely because payment has been submitted; measurement review must also be completed.

Custom Measurement Process

After confirmed payment, provide the order number, affected hind leg, A–G measurements in centimetres and clear dog-leg photographs for each physical brace. The Custom Order Policy and Measurement Guide form part of this process.

Production

Production begins after the submitted information has been reviewed and confirmed as sufficient. Custom production takes approximately 15 days. For cancellation and change requests, custom production is considered to have begun when the customer’s measurements have been reviewed and confirmed, custom modeling or design has started, physical production has started, or materials specifically allocated or purchased for that custom order have been prepared. The production period is an estimate, not a guaranteed completion date.

Shipping

After custom production is completed, estimated shipping time is 6–12 business days. Applicable customs duties are included in the product price, but this does not mean that all VAT, sales tax, brokerage fees or every possible governmental charge worldwide is included. Shipping availability, tracking and delay handling are described in the Shipping Policy.

Returns and Refunds

Before custom production begins, you may contact ARDELVIO to request cancellation. After custom production begins under the definition above, a change-of-mind cancellation or refund is generally unavailable because the brace is individually made for the customer’s dog. Faulty, damaged, incorrectly supplied, materially misdescribed or otherwise legally protected claims remain subject to applicable consumer law. See the Return & Refund Policy.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website’s branding, text, graphics, layouts and other original content are owned by or licensed to ARDELVIO. They may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission except where law allows.

Prohibited Use

  • using the website unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • attempting to disrupt, probe or bypass website security;
  • introducing malicious code or automated abuse;
  • infringing intellectual-property, privacy or other rights; or
  • submitting false order, payment or measurement information.

Website Disclaimer

We aim to keep the website available and accurate, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every error will be corrected immediately. Any disclaimer applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, ARDELVIO is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable loss arising from website use or purchase. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability arising from fraud or other legally protected claims.

Veterinary and Medical Disclaimer

The brace provides external support and is not a substitute for veterinary diagnosis, treatment or emergency care. It is not guaranteed to cure an injury, replace surgery, eliminate pain or achieve a particular recovery. Consult a qualified veterinarian about suitability and use.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The governing law, contracting legal entity and dispute jurisdiction have not yet been confirmed and must be added before production launch. Mandatory consumer protections in a customer’s location may apply regardless of any future choice-of-law provision.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the website, business practices or legal requirements. The Last Updated date identifies the current published version. Changes do not retroactively remove rights already accrued under applicable law.

Privacy and Contact

See the Privacy Policy for information-handling practices. For questions about these Terms, email care@ardelvio.com or use the Support page.
